ABOUT

THE AMAZON

The forest is losing space to pasture and mining. Every day an incalculable material, immaterial and environmental heritage is exterminated. Its trees, animals, water and soil suffer new damage constantly in the name of advancing economic “development” over its borders.

The culture of indigenous peoples and ancestral knowledge are systematically undermined in the name of an ideal of exploitation, consumption and scarcity.

NI SHUNPIN PROJECT

The Ni Shunpin Project is an independent initiative, conceived by Spiritual Leader Ixã Huni Kuin, in search of creating a culture of preservation of forest life, strengthening ancestral traditions and the socio-economic autonomy of its people.
